소니인터랙티브엔터테인먼트코리아(이하 SIEK)는 2021년 2월 3일(수)부터 2021년 2월 17일(수)까지 15일 동안 ‘Playful New Year’ 프로모션을 진행한다. 음력 설 연휴를 맞이하여 진행되는 본 프로모션에서는 PlayStation®VR All-in-one-pack^*1, DUALSHOCK®4 무선 컨트롤러(일부 색상)^*2, 엄선된 PlayStation®4(이하 PS4™)용 소프트웨어에 대한 할인 판매가 진행된다. PlayStation™Store(이하 PS Store)에서도 다양한 PlayStation® 소프트웨어를 최대 80%까지 할인한다.

또한, 2021년 2월 3일(수)부터 2월 10일(수)까지 8일 동안 PS Store에서는 PlayStation®Plus (이하 PS Plus) 12개월 정기 구독 서비스를 할인된 가격에 선보인다.

더불어, 2월 3일(수)부터 PlayStation® 이용자에게 다양한 즐거움과 푸짐한 경품을 제공하는 ‘Playful Festival 챌린지’ 등록이 시작된다. 챌린지에 등록하고, PS4™ 또는 PlayStation®5(이하 PS5™)에서 게임을 플레이하거나 엔터테인먼트 앱을 이용하여 커뮤니티의 목표를 달성하면 출전자에게 경품이 주어진다.

같은 기간 동안, PS Store에서는 PS4™용 소프트웨어 Ghost of Tsushima와 페르소나 5 더 로열, PS4™ 및 PS5™용 소프트웨어 Assassin's Creed Valhalla 등 엄선된 PS4™ 및 PS5™ 타이틀을 최대 80% 할인된 가격에 선보인다.

이와 더불어, 2021년 2월 3일(수)부터 2월 10일(수)까지 PS Store에서는 PS Plus 12개월 정기 구독 서비스를 25% 할인한다. 같은 기간 동안 PlayStation® 파트너샵 플러스 및 PlayStation® 파트너샵에서 PS Plus 12개월 정기 구독 서비스를 구매하고, 해당 기간 안에 입력을 완료하면 3개월을 추가*4로 받을 수 있다.

■ ‘Playful Festival 챌린지’ 안내 

챌린지 (1): 커뮤니티 챌린지
Playful Festival 챌린지에 참가하기 위해서는 2월 3일(수)부터 11일(목)까지 PlayStation™Network에 등록된 계정으로 로그인하여 챌린지에 등록해야 한다. 챌린지는 2월 12일(금)부터 3월 5일(금)까지 진행되며, 해당 기간 동안 PS4™나 PS5™에서 YouTube, Netflix, Twitch 등의 엔터테인먼트 애플리케이션을 이용한 시간과 모든 게임 플레이 시간이 커뮤니티의 성과로 반영된다. 커뮤니티 목표를 달성하면, 출전자는 경품을 받을 수 있다.

챌린지 (2): 팀 챌린지
팀 챌린지는 ‘개복어’, ‘주먹왕하지’를 비롯한 여러 인플루언서가 아시아 전역에 걸쳐 꾸려진 팀과 함께 목표를 달성하는 챌린지이다. 출전자는 본인이 들어가고 싶은 팀을 고를 수 있다. 각 출전자의 게임 플레이 시간은 팀 스코어에 반영된다. 게임 플레이 시간이 가장 긴 상위 3개 팀이 팀 챌린지에서 우승을 하게 되며, 각 우승팀의 상위 20명의 플레이어에게는 경품이 주어진다.
