- 게임플레이 월드 프리미어는 5월 18일 공개 예정

Bungie와 Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI)의 자회사인 Activision Publishing, Inc.,는 인류를 구원하기 위한 서사적 여정을 담은 1인칭 액션 게임으로 전세계적으로 호평을 받은 Destiny의 속편 ‘Destiny 2’의 발매 정보와 함께 공식 트레일러 ‘Rally the Troops’를 통해 캐릭터를 중심으로 Destiny 2의 스토리 일부분을 공개했다.

또한 최초의 게임플레이는 5월 18일 실시간 생중계로 전세계에 방송예정이며, 이날 방송을 통해Destiny 2의 액션 지향적인 다양한 재미요소와 함께 플레이어들을 위해 준비한 새로운 서사적 모험을 선보일 예정이다. Destiny 2는 9월 8일 전세계 발매 예정이며, PlayStation®4로 플레이 할 수 있다. (특정 기능 활용을 위해 PlayStation®Plus 필요)

Destiny 2는 강력한 적이 이끄는 ‘the Red Legion’ 군대에 의해 지구 상에서 유일하게 안전한 도시가 함락된 배경이며, 모든 플레이어는 “가디언”으로 불리는 인류의 선택된 수호자 캐릭터를 생성한다. Destiny 2 내에서 가디언이 된 플레이어들은 도시 생존 세력들을 다시 모으기 위해 새로운 능력과 무기 사용법을 익혀야 하며, 그들의 고향을 다시 되찾기 위해 맞서 싸워야 한다. 공식 트레일러 ‘Rally the Troops’에서는 가디언들의 리더인 ‘the Vanguard’ 두 명이 등장해 군대 동원을 위해서 마지막 도시의 생존자들을 열정적으로 격려한다. 플레이어는 이 부름에 응답해 광활한 태양계 주위를 탐험하는 신선한 이야기 속으로 들어가게 된다. 또한 Destiny 2에는 광활하고, 발전하는 동시에 흥미진진한 우주에서 서로 협력하고, 때로는 경쟁을 펼치는 1인 플레이어를 포함한 대부분의 Destiny 2 게이머를 위한 추가적인 요소들도 포함되어 있다.

한국에서는 Destiny 2 타이틀의 스탠다드 버전이 발매되며, 가격은 64,800원이다. 예약판매는 4월 1일부터 전국 PlayStation® 파트너샵에서 실시한다.
